X-Calibur Training
X-Calibur International will host the Institute of Concrete Technology (ICT) Concrete Technology & Construction, Stage 1 Concrete Practice Course at its Technology Centre in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
The course will be a 3 day intensive course with an exam immediately after the course. X-Calibur have contracted the Cement & Concrete of South Africa to deliver the course. Successful delegates will also receive a Certificate from the Cement & Concrete Institute of South Africa.
Courses dates are 4th to 6th December 2011. X-Calibur International intends to host the course every December and June.

We are pleased to announce the President of the X-Calibur Group, Mr Brian Davies, has been elected as a Fellow of The Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining (IOM3). IOM3 is the UKs most prestigious professional body for the advancement of materials science and the global professionals in the materials cycle
Mr Davies, who has also been elected as a Fellow of the Institute of Concrete Technology, a Fellow of the Concrete Society and The Geological Society of London commented, "Being elected as a Fellow of the IOM3 is a culmination of three decades of hard work and is for me a lifetime achievement. I will do my utmost to further the aims and objects of the Institute and its assist in any way I can to help develop the organisation."

X-Calibur exhibited at the Baku Build Exhibition in Azerbaijan from 19th to 22nd October 2011. The show was well attended and the X-Calibur team comprising 5 people were kept busy.

X-Calibur Lands India's Largest Polished Floor Project

X-Calibur's X-Tech Formula X has been selected and is currently being applied at the new world class truck manufacturing facility being constructed by Daimler Benz for the Indian truck brand Bharat Benz in Oragadam in Tamil Nadu, India.
Daimler Benz through its subsidiary Daimler Commercial Vehicles India Pvt Ltd is investing over US$ 900 million in the first phase of the 160 hectare manufacturing complex.
X-Tech Formula X was selected after a series of trials against competitors' products. The product is being installed by Cipy Polyurethanes Pvt Ltd as part of a polished floor system. X-Calibur developed the system and provided full technical support including machine selection, training and initial site supervision.

The course comprised morning theory sessions and hands on practical training in the afternoon. The delegates also experience X-Calibur's now legendry hospitality.
